On a very regular basis we will use the guild calendar and such to organize RvR groups ahead of time... especially for larger scale Keep and Capital City battles. The larger scale organization will be done by the Overlord of the region where the event is taking place. Then, the on-the-ground tactical leadership of those events are led by the General of that region (with support from the Odji-Mortis, who will lead tertiary parties as necessary).
The Odji-Mortis are also the guys who organize our online members into RvR teams WHEN THERE IS NOT SOMETHING PRE-PLANNED. What the Odji-Mortis have to be able to do - is to make these squads in real time... with whoever happens to be on at the time. This is not easy. It takes leadership and know-how. In this same vein, the number of people promoted to OM will be reflective of the amount of people we generally have online at a given time.
In addition to the tasks assigned to each officer based on their office, all officers share the following responsibilities:
Officers help review new applicants, asking questions and making comments in their application threads.
Officers become mentors, and have "students" assigned. This is to help build relationships within the community, and to provide members a direct point of contact to the officers.
Officers participate in officer discussions that range from setting policy, to reviewing promotions, to handling any issues that may arise.
Officers are a walking representation of what it means to be part of the Unholy Legions of Anti-Sanctus Chaotica.
As an officer - ASC really becomes your guild. It is a reflection of your hard work. The success of its community is your success. It is something that builds your Infamy. It is something of which you can be proud... in a malevolent way.
who: These are "npc rp" characters that serve, essentially, as plot hooks and stand-ins for guild member written lore.
what: The Coven is an order of female vampires descended from the line of Queen Neferata. The priestesses of this Coven are charged with the care of the Sanctum Desecrata: the hidden temples, strategic-headquarters of the UL-ASC.
Each of our Sanctum Desecratus headquarters is "tended to" by a vampire priestess. Collectively, they comprise this coven. According to our lore, eight female vampires joined the UL:ASC 1160 years before the formation of the Empire. Their vampire matron was Queen Neferata. They joined the UL:ASC partly as a way to escape the wrath of Nagash. He was/is the most powerful necromancer in Warhammer lore, and he turned on the vampires after they failed to help him defeat Alcadizaar the Conqueror.

The Odji-Mortis log into the game, look at the guild roster, figure out if anyone is off solo'ing, or if we have members spread into different PUGs, and then they do everything possible to bring all the ASC into a united group.
