These are brief biographies of the four original Dark Lords (currently there are seven), the leaders of this regiment.  When taken together, they paint a clear picture of the History of the Origins of Anti-Sanctus Chaotica:

Dark Lord Aishrod was promoted to the Council at the start of the Age of Reckoning.
Dark Lord Squiggie and Dark Lady Mizzie Darksyn were promoted to the Council just prior to the arrival of the Tomb Kings in this Age of Reckoning.

Summary:

• Thousands of years ago, when the first human civilization was starting to grow in power, a High Elf named Cyn A'thalui learned that humanity's "darker subconscious" was manifesting in CHAOS, and making CHAOS even more powerful.  He HATED CHAOS more than anything, because he had lost his wife during the second major CHAOS invasion of the High Elf island of Ulthuan.  With blind rage he was more than willing to just kill off humanity, if it meant stopping the spread of CHAOS.
  
  
• Cyn's own daughter (Aladriel) betrayed him, and he was caught by a contingent of Humans under King Settra's command.  Cyn was imprisoned and tortured.  King Settra was eager to learn everything that elves knew about death and immortality.  The lead torturer was Kutulu, a Mortuary Priest.  Kutulu tortured Cyn, until the elf explained the impact that humanity's "animalistic" thoughts were having on CHAOS.   At that time, humans were unaware of the relationship between their subconscious and the realm of chaos...  the source of the magical energies that manifest in our world.
  
  
• Another prisoner, a Dark Elf named Noir, offered to help Kutulu learn how to gain MORE POWER by opportunistically feeding off the FEAR and ANARCHY that an EMPOWERED CHAOS could produce.  Under extreme physical and spiritual torture, Cyn gave them the knowledge they needed to devise methods for taking advantage of humanity's relationship with chaos... by directing the nature of what normally is a passive mental amalgam.
  
  
• Kutulu and Noir were joined by several others (including Cyn's daughter, Aladriel) as they began to experiment with feeding off the fears of their prey.  The first subject to survive a particularly gruesome magical experiment was an accomplished soldier, whom Kutulu respected for his martial prowess.  His name was Archael (and he later changed his name to Ar'achna Bael).  Ar'achna recognized the potential for power, and helped expand the group's operations.  Through Ar'achna's connections with the military elite, and Kutulu's connections with the Mortuary Priests, this small group began to entice the POWER-HUNGRY and BLOOD-THIRSTY into their FEAR-EATING organization.  So they formalized their association, and codified their philosophy in the Liber Anti-Sanctus Chaotica (the book of Unholy Chaos).  This was the birth of The Unholy Legions of Anti-Sanctus Chaotica.

An "Auto-biographical" Account of the Origins of Anti-Sanctus Chaotica:

  • This is not the story of Brion. Though, for a Bretonni tour-guide, he has his moments. In fact, this is hardly a story at all. No, this is the confession of Cyn A'thalui.
  • Long before the rise human civilization, Cyn was blissfully happy. He was a husband. He was a father. Though Chaos already plagued his civilization, Cyn felt that he was the cure. And, in a manner of speaking, he was. Successful in his craft as a healer, Cyn lived a fulfilled life knowing that he could help his fellow citizens on the island of Ulthuan.
  • Through tragic loss, unattainable vengeance, xenophobic rage, and heroic guilt- Cyn A'thalui is taken from bliss to the abyssal depths of his worst nightmares. As his life spirals downward into the eternal night, he is at once the enemy of all humanity, and later -perhaps- their only salvation...
  • This autobiography is Cyn's final hope, his last chance to atone for the horrors that his grief-born rage has sired...

-4500 Collapse of the Old Ones' Polar Gateways

-4471 Second Chaos Invation (Avelorn, Ulthuan): Cyn A'thalui's wife (Aladriel's mother) is killed.

-4458 Malekith (future King of the Dark Elves) is born.

-3500 Golden Age of Elves - voyages are undertaken to east and west, colonies established in Old and New Worlds.

-3000 Golden Age begins as Dwarven Empire founded and establishment of Karaz-a-Karak as capital.

-2723 The Sundering. Witch King interferes with the Vortex which contained Chaos Magic. Much of northern Ulthuan sunk.

-2700 When Naggaroth is finally established, Malekith has all of the Druchii sorcerers murdered one by one, which even included some of the Dru Perim. However, even though there appear to be no male practitioners of Dark Magic in Naggaroth there are inevitably some who lie in hiding throughout the cold lands.

-2698 Noir is born to a lesser noble house in Naggarond.

-2650 The Dark Elf Noir leaves Naggaroth society as an exile, because he wishes to study magic that the Witch King has forbidden male druchii to study.

-2500 The rise of Nehekhara, the first true human civilization. (may spread this over a year or two)

-2495 Cyn intervenes during a horribly bloody Anti-Sanctus Chaotica ritual, as eighty-eight nearly-dead, innocent, sacrificial prisoners were screaming from un-natural pain and anguish, causing a cataclysmic eruption of unchecked Chaos and Black magics.

-1959 Nagash slays Priest King of Khemri and seizes power.

-1160 Alcadizaar the Conqueror defeats the Nagash and the Vampire Masters. Most Vampire Masters flee and are cursed by Nagash.

-1151 The Great Ritual. The rising of Settra (start of the Tomb Kings) - caused (on accident) by Nagash performing the Ritual of Waking.

-1 While on his way to watch Sigmar's coronation, Cyn is tricked by Aladriel and imprisoned alive in a cave to die very slowly of starvation.

0 Sigmar crowned as Emperor. Beginning of the Empire.

117 Raa'il Brightwarden, a High Elf is born.

~200 After two centuries of imprisonment, Cyn’s despair overcomes him and he sheds tears for the first time. The tears, infused with the dark magic of the ritual interrupted nearly 2700 years prior, land on some goblin spores in the cave.

~201 Squiggie claws his way out of the ground and meets his maker, Cyn.

~350 Cyn and Squiggie escape their prison and part ways.

475 Squiggie is slain for the first time in his life, only to have his spores re-grow him back into the exact same creature he was when he died, a result of the dark magic that helped create him.

1707-1712 Gorbad Ironclaw leads a huge Waaagh into Empire. He wins Battle of Solland's Crown and Battle of Grunberg but is defeated at Siege of Altdorf.

1715 Lord Noir returns to the Sanctum Desecratus Fungus with a small metal box inscribed the the runes of Chaos Dwarves, the same day Squiggie arrives at the Sanctum with the tale of Cyn's escape. 

1776 Creation of the Nightmare Tribe: The Nightmare Tribe is created, when a group of Chaos Magi and Druchii Sorceresses successfully create 88 Black Orcs from a collection of spore obtained from Chaos Dwarves.

1818 Raa'il Brightwarden vanishes.

1868 Raulen Grimblade appears.

2490 Kutulu is re-born in a nomadic, Khornate tribe north of the Eastern Steppes.

2502 Election of Karl-Franz, of the house of Holswig-Schliestein, as Emperor Karl-Franz I

2505 Kutulu leaves his tribe and heads on a pilgrimage northwest through the Chaos Wastes, where he meets a Tzeentian zealot, the hermit "birdman" of Mung, that shows Kutulu the ways of Tzeentch. This triggers the return of all of Kutulu's memories from past lives.

2520 Dark Lord Kutulu and Dark Lady Aladriel hold a meeting in the Sanctum Desecrata Malice to discuss recent events involving the Witch King Malekith.

2523 Kutulu travels to Nordland to meet with UL-ASC agents in Tchar'zanek's forming Warhost, and to recruit new members to the Legion.

2524 The Warhammer Prologue - a gathering of Daemons

2525 Dwarven city Karak Eight Peaks falls to the Bloody Sun Boyz' WAAAGH. (from Warhammer Online backstory).

CURRENT TIME - The Age of Reckoning

• Chaos is released unchecked into the world through the hole torn in the fabric of the universe by the destroyed gates.
• Old Ones Die
• Old Slaan Die

• Cyn A'thalui assumes that his innocent daughter Aladriel has died in the Sundering.
• Cyn A'thalui joins the Shadow Warriors.
• Dark Elves establish themselves in the cold land of Naggaroth, with its capital of Naggarond.

• Settra conquers entire land of Nehekhara; Khemri founded as his residence, establishes the Priesthood of the Awakening and builds Pyramid of Eternity.
• Kutulu Xul, an interrogator in Settra's army, is made a Mortuary Priest and asked to interrogate "special" prisoners for information on death and immortality.
• Noir is captured by Settra's armies and taken for "special" interrogation.
• Cyn A'thalui learns of Settra's brutality, and that the growing human society is inadvertently making chaos more powerful through their subconscious fears and vices.
• Cyn travels to Khemri to poison the river and commit genocide (in order to stop the humans from making chaos any stronger).
• Aladriel follows her father to Khemri.
• Aladriel sees her father preparing large quantities of poison, and secretly alerts Settra's forces to his presence.
• Cyn is made a "special" prisoner.
• Kutulu interrogates Cyn and finds out about the subconscious connection between humans and chaos.
• Noir, overhearing Cyn's interrogation, pledges to help Kutulu learn how to capitalize on the information.
• Aladriel, also overhearing her father's interrogation, introduces herself to Kutulu and Noir.
• Cyn escapes from Settra's prison.
• Archael, an accomplished veteran soldier in Settra's armies is mortally wounded and taken to the Mortuary Priests for study.
• Kutulu experiments on Archael, and saves the soldiers life. Archael pledges to help Kutulu, Noir and Aladriel with their secret studies.
• The four create a secret society founded on the study of chaos and death magics and the exploitation of peoples' fears.
• With some other ruthless Nehekharans (not all of whom were Mortuary Priests) and with the guidance of some Dark Elves, this secret organization manages to make Malevolence Manifest.
• They call the organization Anti-Sanctus Chaotica.

• The Nehekharan humans are instantly killed, but now reincarnate and regain memories of all their past lives.
• The Dark Elves scattered, but have renewed youth and even longer life-spans.
• Cyn's youth is also restored, and he has the same lengthened life-span.

• Eight female vampires, descended from the line of Queen Neferata, join the Unholy Legions of Anti-Sanctus Chaotica. As a Coven, they are made keepers of the Sanctum Desecrata.

• Kutulu sends Vernest Nightmare to try and draw out the current incarnation of Lord Archael.

• Ar'achna kills Vernest.
• Kutulu and Ar'achna fight.
• Kutulu and Ar'achna travel to Naggaroth.
• The daemon Mahk'Yavelli (Machiavelli) possesses the druchii Noir's body, taking his place as a Dark Lord of the Anti-Sanctus Chaotica.
• Kutulu and Ar'achna fight Machiavelli Noir.
• Aladriel meets Ashivaeyr.
• Kutulu, Ar'achna and Machiavelli are attacked by Dark Elves.
• Aladriel and Ashivaeyr join the fight and help to kill the Dark Elves.
• The Four Dark Lords and Ashivaeyr travel to the Sanctum Desecratus Malice.
• The Four Dark Lords convene a meeting to finalize their strategy for the Age of Reckoning.
• Lord Sordin joins the meeting.
• Rubakka arrives with word that members of the Nightmare Tribe are helping the Bloody Sun Boyz in an assault on Karak Eight Peaks, and it's fall was near-at-hand.
• The Dark Lords and officers of the UL-ASC make haste to the front-lines of the coming world war.

• Emperor Karl Franz sends reinforcements to Dwarven King Thorgrim Grudgebearer.
• Tchar'zanek's warhost invades the weakened Empire.
• Finubar, Phoenix King of Ulthuan, sends reinforcements to help the Empire.
• Malekith sends an invading force on the Black Arks to Ulthuan.
