Raulen buried his hands into the folds of his robe. A moment later he produced a key of black iron, adorned with skulls of ivory. He reached out to give Sordin the small passport into his office when he was interrupted by an annoyingly bright and exaggerated flash of purple light. When the smoke cleared, and there was smoke in abundance, Dark Lord Machiavelli Noir stood in what could scarcely be called a bath robe, and a belt consisting of what seemed to be flat rocks. His face that of pure perplexity. The next moment he produced a scroll from his pocket and mumbled something about goblins and laying about, or something to that effect then simply walked away.

Raulen cleared his throat. "I know you haven't been near my office in quite some time," started the Blood Advocate "but the smirk you are no doubt bearing beneath that ridiculous Halloween mask will not be necessary. I have removed all but recruitment documents and folders from my office. It would seem that somebody has been trying to rob me for quite some time now." He dropped the key into Sordins ornate grip. "Who would have thought? Oh and there is no security system. Never has been."

From one of the many hidden passages within the Sanctum, a lone Druchii peered through a hidden observation port to the odd scene in the hallway.

He saw Sordin and the Blood Advocate himself in discussion, and then amidst a bright flash and a huge, thick cloud of smoke, appeared the enigmatic Lord Noir.  Lord Noir muttered something about goblins and proceeded quickly down the hallway, wearing some ridiculous silken get up that only he would think fashionable.

Focusing back on the conversation in the hallway, Zemok heard Raulen clear his throat.

"I know you haven't been near my office in quite some time," started the Blood Advocate "but the smirk you are no doubt bearing beneath that ridiculous Halloween mask will not be necessary. I have removed all but recruitment documents and folders from my office. It would seem that somebody has been trying to rob me for quite some time now." He dropped the key into Sordins ornate grip. "Who would have thought? Oh and there is no security system. Never has been."

Zemok pondered this new development and decided to keep a closer eye on the interaction between these two.  The Blood Avarice could possibly find a an advantage at some point, and the Bloody Hand of the Avarice could always use information for leverage against the other Blood Avarice members, the Blood Advocate Raulen Grimblade included.

With a thoughtful expression upon his pallid face, Zemok quietly retreated back down the hidden passage.
