Jachin entered the room, Meeb following hesitantly.

“See Veronica!” Mahk Noir yelled to one of his many ducks as he saw the pair. “I told you that the pup and his pet would not be late!”

Meeb looked around the room, confused by how drastically it had changed in the past few hours. The entire room was covered in white and powder pink. Frills and lace covered the walls and furniture. Where the large canopy bed had been, there was now an equally large table with pint sized chairs. Anywhere from twenty to thirty of Noir’s ducks sat there, all dressed in different colored lace dresses with matching parasols.

The Dark Lord’s one drake sat in the chair opposite the Druchii, dressed in a miniature tuxedo. But it was the Dark Lord himself that confused the poor Greenskin the most. There he sat, with an empty chair on either side of him bearing similar outfits, wearing a wide-brimmed white lace hat, a flowing lace dress with matching elbow-length gloves, holding a tea kettle in one hand and a lace handkerchief in the other.

“Come!” the Dark Lord said. “Sit! But don’t forget to don the proper attire!”

Some time later, Meeb and Jachin sat at the Dark Lord’s table. Both were wearing the dresses Noir had picked for them. Jachin’s fitting loosely over his armor, Meeb’s skin tight as it strained to cover his bulk.

“Tea?” Noir asked the pair, holding the kettle out to them.

Meeb grabbed the kettle, burning his hand. Curses began to fly from the Orc’s mouth as he waved his hand around.

Mahk narrowed Noir’s eyes, glaring at the Greenskin with undisguised malice.

“Mind…your…manners…” hissed the Dark Lord, emphasizing every syllable.

Meeb froze, not sure what he should do. Finally, with a glance at Jachin, Meeb nodded and put his injured hand in his mouth.

“Now…on to the speech!” Lord Noir said as though the previous scene had not taken place.

The Druchii removed a parchment from the front of his dress and read aloud, “Four score and seven years ago…Oops! Wrong one!” Mahk replaced the parchment and withdrew another.

“Ah, yess, this is the one.” Noir said, quickly reviewing the page.

“STRIP!!!” The Dark Lord cried and began stuffing odd, green strips of parchment down the front of Meeb’s dress.
