From the searing flames two eyes looked out. Blood dripping from the splatter on his face. Many High Elves lay dead on the ground, dismantled, and without hearts. The swords of this young Dark Elf were well made, and intricate carvings surrounded them. A platoon of High Elves was visible in the distance. They had come to claim the head from a Disciple of a god they hated, Khaine.

The bodies fed the swords and the swords the wielder. Khaine was pleased, it seemed, at the blood shed in his name, on this day. The Dark Elf had not felt a power like this before

The High Elves marched closer to the terrifying Disciple of Khaine. An evil smile came across my face. I couldn’t help it, a wondrous day it is when High Elves come willingly to me. My heart wanted to race with anticipation, but I wouldn’t let it. I knew that if one let his heart lead him into battle it would fail him. Think with your mind, move with your instinct and stay alert. This is how one becomes Victorious in battle.

The slaughter was about to begin. I shouted for Khaine to give me more power; he must have been listening. The first two High Elves to reach me were the most fortunate; they didn’t feel a thing as their heads fell to the ground, and no pain was caused. The others, well, lets just say the shrieks could be heard by even the Gods themselves.

Using the Blood that was spilled during the fight I, Darkzha, healed my wounds. The power of the God I serve, was amazing indeed. Looking around the battlefield I saw a Chosen standing upon a hill. Not a single word Uttered from him. He wielded his weapon high above his head in approval, turned, and walked away. Who was this person that was watching me? Perhaps, once I rest, I will go find out. The sounds of the ravens were music to my ears. The Battle was won, and a new power was gained.
