For the first time, this information is being made public.  If you had always wondered what exactly the blood avarice was, here is a glimpse into the world of the Druchii and Khaine's prophecy.

Additionally, I wanted to show a glimpse of the kind of work and dedication that goes into creating an RPS that has any chance of success.

Other RP squads can show you a glimpse into their clubs if they wish, or they may keep them private.

Without further adieu...a snapshot of the Avarice history:

Chronicles of the Blood Avarice
History Part 1:  Formation and History From Formation to Present

-2699, shortly after the formation of the Druchii under Dread Lord Malekith, the priests of Khaine became aware of The prophecy of the Scourge of Khaine.  Not all priests could agree on the veracity of it, and it was eventually discarded after many murders and heated arguments.  A small cadre of devoted priests carried out the execution of this prophecy in secret, recruiting Druchii from all walks of life, some more aware of their participation than others.

The prophecy revolved around the Warp Sword of Khaine.  It is so stated that one day a Druchii will bear the blade into battle, becoming Khaines Scourge.  When the bearer shows himself, a time of blood will begin, and the Druchii will surge forth, the embodiment of the Scourge to be led by the foretold sword bearer.  It is widely believed that Malekith himself is destined to be the bearer of the Warp Sword, as his father once was.  These priests and their followers swore an unholy oath to Khaine to uphold this prophecy and pave the way for the Druchii, no matter the cost.

These Druchii called themselves the Blood Avarice.

Over the next one hundred and fifty years, the Blood Avarice insinuated themselves into every facet of Druchii civilization, constantly on vigil for ways to advance the Druchii collectively towards the Day prophecy had promised.  The Blood Avarice became Priests and diplomats, scholars and soldiers, some even managed to hide themselves within the ranks of the Asur, sewing discord from within the enemy, poisoning them against each other and their would be allies.

-2500 The Blood Avarice would launch one of their first successful operations, with naught but a word in the proper ear.  An assassin of Khaine was informed of her fathers intentions involving a human kingdom called Nehekhara.

-2005-2000 Blood Avarice agents within the Asur court, through careful manipulation and the art of instigating arguments begin to drive a wedge between the Asur and their Dwarven allies.  Several attacks are staged during this time by Druchii war bands to implicate the Asur in treacherous attacks against the Dwarves.  These efforts at sabotaging the Asur-Dwarven alliance result in the War of the Beard.

-1502-1501 Agents of the Blood Avarice within the Druchii nobility help stage an assault against the Asur during their vulnerable state during the War of the Beard:  Dwarven Sabatage

to be continued...

The Fall of Tethlis

2301 Temple of Khaine sends Zemok with a force of Disciples and Brides of Khaine to support the forces of the combined Chaos and Druchii assault on Ulthuan.

2425 Goblin horde from the old world assaults Ulthuan and ravages the land until defeated.  Rumors persist of an unknown Druchii warrior instigating and even training some of the goblin regiments.

2502 Erik Redaxe raids Cothique at the head of a great fleet of Norse Reavers.  Rumors of a Druchii sorceress amongst the raiders circulate, but are never confirmed, outside of the Blood Avarice, that is.

2523 Zemok Zhahir “accidentally” encounters forces of the ASC and seeks out their source to join their cause to his.  Little beknownst to them at this time, the Blood Avarice have arrived within the Anti-Sanctus Chaotica.

Yet never once have you thought of the most prominent druchii of them all. A bit of an oversight on our part, so it would seem.

In any case, I have, and continue now to do so, enjoyed the development of the Blood Avarice as an amusing and accurate embodiment of the druchii spirit.

Do continue. You have my attention, and doubtless that of others.
