Well, I'm 6 pages into a story I'm writing and I need to know something pretty crucial for the story at this point that I can't find anywhere, although I may have just missed it. My question, though, is how exactly does ASC recruit? Do they have a method of finding worthy members? Do they just pick up random people? I was reading other stories and this varied, but I couldn't find a concrete answer.  Thanks in advance for any answers anyone may have!

Depending on the regiment and the leaders thereof at the time, we either lure potential members in with covert messages, drop subtle yet intriguing hints so as to let them wander in of what they believe to be their own free will, or we may simply interrogate a walk-in who seems to be worthy of not being tortured.

Also - look at our organizational chart to get the names of the three recruiters.

By their very names, you can get an idea - perhaps - of the methods they employ to meet the recruiting needs of the Overlords to whom they report.
