As you write your RP stories, you can use this as a resource to find more information about the Warhammer world.  You can add dates, locations and other bits of lore into your adventures to make them more "accurate" .... from a Warhammer point of view, of course.  I will be adding more links to this 101, as I find them.  You can respond to this sticky with your resources, and I will add them to this original post.  Have fun... and.... NO MERCY!!!

Warhammer Online Game Backstory: This is a great place to start, because it directly applies to the people and events involved with the game we will all be playing.  If you are writing background stories for your characters, they will probably take place before these events.  If you are writing stories about the CONQUESTS we have in game, this will give you a frame of reference.

Warhammer Timeline: This will help you get an understanding of Warhammer history.  Though Mythic has refused to place the events of Warhammer Online onto the "official" timeline, the presumed date of the game's backstory is around the year 2525.

Warhammer World Map: This map shows a lot of detail for part of the Warhammer World.

Warhammer Northern Map: This map shows the northern part of the Warhammer World from a "top down" perspective.

Warhammer UNDEAD: Wikipedia on the Undead.  In the Anti-Sanctus Chaotica, it is important to know about Warhammer lore regarding the Undead, Nagash, and the Tomb Kings.  This is because their histories all stem from the same ancient civilization where the UL:ASC was founded.

Warhammer Vampire Counts: Wikipedia on Warhammer Vampires.  This bit of Warhammer lore will give you some background that relates to our Coven of the Sanctum Desecrata - the female vampires who tend to our regional headquarters.

Games Workshop: GW is the company that created Warhammer.  You can, understandably, find a great deal of Warhammer lore on this site.

The Black Library: The Black Library is a great source for the best books on Warhammer Lore.  I highly recommend the Liber Chaotica and the Liber Necris.

Warhammer Magic: Wikipedia on Warhammer Magic.  It is important to note that our guild was founded on the magical premise of a hybrid between the Druchii Dark Magics and Chaos Magic.

Ahhh Nice Ive been searching the Web for a lot of this wish I would have found this post sooner. seeing that all the books I have are of warhammer quest now they dont give a great amount of detail. Thanks :twisted:
