OOC:  Buggar me.  I didn't realize he left Naggarond THAT long ago.  I suppose I could be that old...Or he made such an impression that I heard about it several hundred years later.  I suppose that isn't terribly important at this juncture.

Machiavelli/Noir:  I would assume Zemok is simply observant, clever and resourceful, having survived commiting patricide, whatever 'cide sacrificing your brother would be and simply existing in the Temple of Khaine for so many years.

However, I would say that he in fact does not know anything about the Daemon, but simply notices 'Noir's odd behavior through observation and spies and pretty much thinks he's schizophrenic.

Zemok having heard of Noir, obviously at some point would know something of him.  I'm guessing amongst the nobility of the Dark Elves he would be something akin to underground legendary status at this point, more akin to Casanova than a Machiavelli :cP.

Knowing Zemok, he would have done his research as much as possible to know what he was in league with and up against.  It would stand to reason that he would be able to find out more about the Dark Lady and Noir since they are in fact, still alive from way back when.  Kutulu and Ar...um..Archael's new manifestation would prove more troublesome, since they are and, simultaneously, are not who they seem.

With all that blabbering out of the way; no, Zemok does not know of the Daemon, and has no supernatural ability to detect them (I don't think..who knows what DoK powers are?).

Mabe I should do a timeline for zem..

The dark lord swirled the wine in his glass around a bit, but didn't so much as raise it to his lips. He simply smiled at his would-be host.

"Anything you can do for me? Well now, that is indeed an interesting question. That assumes, for one thing, that you have anything worthwhile to offer or that you yourself are of some at least potentially meaningful use to me whatsoever. Further it assumes that I am somehow in need of something. Now then, given that I am, indeed, one of the so-called dark lords, though I prefer to see myself as more of a neutral gray or perhaps a flamboyant purple, of an unwieldy powerful and bloodthirsty clan, how the devil you see yourself as having something to offer me that I couldn't quite well obtain for myself is rather beyond me, and believe me, little one, for something to be beyond me would be quite an achievement. That is, unless it is something that would not actually count as merit worthy, such as it being beyond me to spare the life of an enemy unless it were to prove advantageous, in which case that would not be beyond so much as somewhere slightly to the left of me. I say to the left since leftward of here would be a rather undesirable area, which is where I would also place undesirable actions or outcomes, metaphorically speaking of course," he said in a single breath.

Without a further word, he rose to his feet, lifted the chair up onto his shoulders, and left the room with it.

Zemok stared utterly dumbfounded at the spot that use to contain his, until recently most comfortable chair.

He stood silent for several minutes pondering the empty spot, goblet of blodwine all but forgotten in his hand.

Abruptly he let loose with a loud rumbling laugh that echoed from the walls of his rooms.

Oh well, it's not like I didn't appropriate the chair from someone else anyway.

With a shrug and a bemused half smile he headed back to his room to don his armor, which after this chance encounter, he decided he was better off wearing.

As he set down his human skull goblet to don his armor, he thought to himself I'll have to keep in mind to stay on the good side, or at least the least insane side of this Lord Noir.  His reputation does not do him justice.  I don't think I have met many individuals more dangerous and less predictable than this viper.

Zemok buckled on the various pieces of leather and steel over his crimson and black silk Khaitan, though he left off the skeletal hand helm that normally covered the right half of his face.

He strapped his weapons on, with a few additional daggers and other trinkets he secreted about himself.

Well, a pit of vipers I may have landed in, but the sting of the scorpion is just as deadly.  I think I like it here...

Zemok strode out of his quarters to seek out these vampiress' that were apparently bound to service in this place to see what else he could learn...

I did enjoy that, not to mention our characters have had a formal introduction now.

Next time I'll have to bolt down my chair though...
