The Unholy Legions of Anti-Sanctus Chaotica, a Warhammer Online Destruction Regiment, The Eve of the WAR

Custom demands that I initiate the games with a speech.

I had considered something dramatic or overly stylish. Perhaps a few paragraphs of raving madness calling for the evisceration of the despots of the Empire? Mayhap I should call for a general state of Emergency as all out conflict simmers in the cooking pot of enmity. It shan't be long now before the entire Old World is plunged into a bitter and bloody Armageddon, and there can only be one outcome - The obliteration of society and civilisation as we know it.

I won't lie to you, they have us outnumbered. Many of you won't come home. Many more of you will probably never even see the capital. For every one of them that falls, a hundred will replace him. For every one of us that fall... Well, we mustn't fall.
There is no delusion, no sickened and depleted excuse for our plight. Victory must be acquired at all costs, because if we do not win, we will not only be beaten back from the Reikland... But from the face of all existence. Cast your mind over everything you have ever desired, everything you have ever set sight on, everything you crave. Swept away by the monopolising and greed driven hand of the false Emperor.

Everything up until now was a game. In about one month's time, there will not be a soul on the planet, from Cathay to Naggarond, Albion to Arabay, Nippon to the Isle of Talons, that will not be waiting, eyes alight with trepidation, for the armies of the Legion to appear of the horizon, moving too quickly to flee from, too numerous to stand against.

When this time comes, our own momentum will carry us toward the fray, but it is difficult to keep such momentum if you are following your own stride. It will take determination, discipline, and at least a pinch of common sense. I am well aware that some of our more... Psychotic Divisions may lack such commodities. I have taken the liberty of posting up a roster of those that should be placed at the front of Operation: Meat Shield- I mean, Operation: Medals and Glory.

Prepare yourselves, my brothers. The end is nigh, and this time the cliché does not spill from the worthless jaws of an ancient doomsayer with little else on which to exercise his lungs. I am deadly serious.

Fight, and win. If you fail to do so, then by this time next season, we will all, each of us, be a slowly cooling corpse on a field outside the Inevitable city, which shall burn with heretical fire and light the night with our dreams.

Win, because losing is not an option.
