2502

On the north eastern shores of the Sea of Claws, in a Tzeentchian settlement, Raythe Rajani was born. Raythe was born to Ariadne, a zealot and prophet of Tzeentch, and his wife Thanata.

2503

The initiation of Raythe Rajani into the Tzeentchian faith was done through a sacrifice performed by his father, Ariadne. The Empire child’s blood was painted onto Raythe’s chest made to resemble Tzeentch’s symbol. The feast that came afterwards was glorious and the settlement celebrated their beloved prophet’s son.

“My son Raythe Rajani, I give to you, Tzeentch, use him as a vessel for change. Through the blood of our enemies he is reborn in your service.”

- Ariadne Rajani

2503

For his first birthday Raythe, was given by his parents a version of The Scroll of Tzeentch; this scroll lists the history and teachings of Tzeentch, The Changer of Ways. Every night from now until he is old enough to read it on his own Ariadne and Thanata will start reading the scroll to Raythe and teaching him about their almighty God and his plans for the future. Raythe has officially begun his training as future zealot and prophet of his settlement.

2504

Ariadne and Thanata give birth to another son, Waygar Rajani. Raythe is now two and fully accepting his grooming as future zealot to Tzeentch. He has made remarkable accomplishments and can already read and preach the words of Tzeentch. He is excited to have a younger brother, another follower for Tzeentch and begins reading the scroll to Waygar every chance he can.

2505

Waygar’s initiation ceremony into the Tzeentchian faith takes place. Raythe helps his father with the ceremony. Now two and a half Raythe does not paint the symbol onto Waygar’s chest, but he had the honor of helping his father slit the Empire child’s throat for his blood. This was the first sacrifice/murder performed by Raythe in the name of Tzeentch.

2508

A death squad of Sigmar supporting scum has been terrorizing Tzeentchian settlements along the coast of the Sea of Claws. They have been killing those they call witches and warlocks and have even begun to burn down entire settlements. They are stealing the youth and bringing them back to Altdorf to raise them as “The Saved.”

2508

By orders of Jimmu, chief of the settlement, an army of north men led by Ariadne has left the settlement to confront those who kill our countrymen and kidnap our youth.

2508

A great battle has been fought on the coast of the Sea of Claws. It is being named, The Battle of Amass. The north men were able to fight off the Empire squad and rescue some of the captive youth, but at great cost; Ariadne was slain during the battle. He had fought mercilessly and without fear. It is said from those that witnessed his downfall that it took four men to finally kill him.

“He was like a bird of prey the way he moved in and out of the scum’s lines. He massacred all that got in his way while also healing his comrades as he inspired strength and frenzy among the warriors.”

–        Taranis, Warrior of Tzeentch

2508

At age six Raythe had become the youngest prophet of his settlement. This did not cause him any troubles though and he was respected amongst the young and the old. From this day forward Raythe would perform the ceremonies of Tzeentch and continue to preach not only to those from his settlement, but to those who came from far and wide to hear the young prophet speak. Waygar supported his brother and was his aid through the ceremonies, learning everything he needed to know as Raythe had done with his father.

2512

Like all males of the settlement at age ten they were taken by Chief Jimmu into the wilderness to begin their training as warriors. Raythe was given a dagger, a feather, and flint and left in the chaos wastes to make his way back home. His brother Waygar was to hold all ceremonies in his absence.

2512

Raythe Rajani now a man in his settlement had returned to his countrymen. His face was painted in blood, he was wearing a necklace of human eyes, carrying a bag of valuables over his shoulder, and holding his father’s dagger that had been stolen at the Battle of Amass… he was also wearing the clothing of the empire.

“Five days after I was left by Jimmu, I began following a caravan I had seen in the distance. At night I would sneak into their camp, steal food and water, and if the opportunity came I would slay a man in his sleep and steal his eyes as trophies for Tzeentch. For every man I killed I painted a symbol on my face in his blood, there are fifteen symbols. The longer I traveled shadowing those men the less they slept. This made it easy for me to become much bolder in my intrusions into their camp. The worn out men were too exhausted to react with the strength that they should have possessed and the shadows were my allies. Slowly but surely there were no men left at all and I had my pick of any of the treasure I wanted. During my ravaging I came across my father’s dagger. These men had been in the squadron of Empire soldiers killing our people and eventually murdering my father. After I had taken all that I wanted I sacrificed what was left of their livestock in the name of Tzeentch with my father’s dagger. Tzeentch’s will  shall be done through me."

          -    Raythe Rajani

2514

While sitting around the hearth Raythe, Waygar, and their mother Thanata read the Scroll of Tzeentch as they did every night before their meal. There was a bit of commotion outside but they paid no attention to it. As quickly as a snake strikes the Witch hunter looking for Raythe shot Thanata in the face killing her instantly. Before he could turn to attack the brothers Waygar pulled a flaming log out of the fire and broke the witch hunter’s knee cap toppling him to the ground. Raythe and Waygar descended upon the man and decimated his body.

2514

Jimmu took in the two brothers to live with him while they were in mourning. Both Raythe and Waygar wanted vengeance. They knew their father had died fighting mercilessly for Tzeentch, but there mother was not even given the chance. Raythe flayed what he could from the witch hunter’s body and began crafting himself a shield from the skin. He also began crafting the remaining armor into something he found more suitable to a warrior of Tzeentch. Waygar burnt the remaining flesh from the witch hunter’s bones and crafted daggers and short swords from which he would surely bring death on many of his enemies.

2514

Raythe and Waygar gave up the responsibilities of the Tzeentchian ceremonies to other zealots in the settlement. They did not lose any of their faith though. They just planned on getting much more involved in the bringing of chaos foretold by Tzeentch.

2514

The training of Raythe and Waygar Rajani had begun. Jimmu was teaching them to be merciless vessels of destruction. They left their prophet lives behind them, but not the true teaching of Tzeentch or their faith in the Changer of Ways.

2524

The brothers Raythe and Waygar left the settlement to join the War host under command of Tchar’zanek and join the Unholy Legions of the Anti- Sanctus Chaotica.

I'm looking forward to getting in game with you.

We'll see what Tchar’zanek is up to - and have tons of more details and plot points that we can weave into the story.

You will be able to write about how agents of the UL:ASC used Tchar’zanek's invasion to our own ends.... and where we went... and who we killed.... and what keeps we took over in the name of the UL:ASC (and not, necessarily, for Tchar’zanek)....
